Day 1: Tan Son Nhat airport – Hotel (-/-/D)
Upon your time to Tan Son Nhat Airport, welcome guide and car pick you up and transfer to the Hotel. Free time till dinner. Overnight in HCMC
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City tour and Cuchi Tunnel (B/L/D)
Morning Pick up at your hotel and depart for Cu Chi (70 km). Prepare for an exciting visit to legendary Cu Chi, site of some of the most intense battles during the American War. Explore the underground base of the resistance fighters and the intricate network of over 200 km of the tunnels. For an extra charge you can even fire an AK – 47 on the shooting range. Return to Ho Chi Minh. Have lunch at local restaurant
Visit the Old Colonial Residential Quarter, the Opera House, the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral, and the historical Reunification Palace, War Remnants Museum. Overnight in HCMC
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City –My Tho (B/L/-)
In this morning pick up at your hotel; depart for My Tho City, the Capital of Tien Giang (Front River) province where you can take the boat to get Unicorn Island, one of the four lucky islands. On this island you can see daily activities of the local peoples along tributaries of river and enjoy some typical produces of the Mekong Delta like tropical candies, fresh fruits (depend on the season)
Hand–rowing sampans take you along the small canal, making coconut candy, horse-drawn carriage take you on the village’ s roads, delicious lunch at the local restaurant… and enjoy many local specialties like Tai Tuong fried fish, spring rolls, and fresh shrimp. It’s good feelings you can enjoy on this trip. On the way back, upon your request, Drop to Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Da Nang – Hoi An (B/L/D)
Pick up at your hotel transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport to flight to Da Nang. Arrival Da Nang then travel to see spectacular views on top of Marble Mountain. Continue on to Hoi An (30 km), check in at hotel and have Lunch. After that, embark on a walking tour around central Hoi An and see why UNESCO listed this ancient town as World Heritage site; visit its numerous places of interest: the 400-year old Japanese Covered Bridge, the Phuc Kien Assembly Halls, the local fish market… Around the town we can see a numerous art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like and have dinner. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Cooking Class in Tra Que Village - My Son Sanctuary (B/L/-)
8:00 Tour guide pick you up at your hotel. Take a bike to the downtown, stop by Hoi An’s colorful central market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. So make sure your camera is handy.
10:00 bike to Tra Que vegetable village. Welcome drink for rest and walk through the vegetable gardens where local farmers work on their fields using the traditional methods of hundreds of years ago, no electrical machinery here.
11:00 Work together with the chef. Learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. After the lesson, enjoy what you have cooked after that drive to My Son, a World Heritage, 50 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the same league as some of Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries was built from the 7 to 13 centuries. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An – Hue City tour (B/L/D)
After breakfast, Our car pick up and transfer to Hue, on the way, stop to take in the breathtaking views at the Hai Van Pass. Arrival Hue, check in hotel and have Lunch. In the afternoon, short excursion to boat port. Then the Dragon boat will take you along the peaceful Huong River to Thien Mu Pagoda, Hon Chen Temple, Minh Mang Tomb. Admire the beautiful landscapes and the sunset on the way back. Dinner and enjoy Vietnamese traditional folk song on boat on Perfume River. Tour end at your hotel around 20.00 pm. Overnight in Hue
Day 7: Hue City tour full day (B/L/-)
After breakfast, we head to suburb to visit Khai Dinh King's Tomb; Tu Duc King's Tomb then back to Hue for lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit Imperial Citadel (the grand palace of the last Nguyen's dynasty) pagoda, finally stop for some shopping at Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: Hue – Ha Noi City (B/L/D)
After breakfast, free time until flight to Ha Noi, Upon to Noi Bai Airport pick up and transfer to hotel for check-in and refresh, have lunch at local restaurant.
In this afternoon, you will visit Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake Restored Sword Lake) with Ngoc Son Temple. The city tour is followed by 1 hour drive on cycle to observe the daily life of Hanoi an, along the narrow and bustling streets. Most of them are named starting with “Hang” plus the current on sale goods. Enjoin Water Puppet show before having dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi city.
Day 9: Ha Noi City – Lao Cai – Sa Pa (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we take you to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh's stilt house - where Ho lived on and off from 1958 to 1969. Then visit Ho Chi Minh's museum where tourists will learn what he had done for Viet Nam and some other countries and learn all kinds of information about President Ho Chi Minh.
The next place is One Pillar Pagoda a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square pond.
Have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, back the hotel check out and drive to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, Which is on the shore of West Lake. Have dinner then drive to the railroad station for Sa Pa. Overnight on train.
Day 10: Sa Pa – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L/D)
Arrived Lao Cai at 06:30 am. Pick up at Lao Cai Station then transfer to Sapa. We will take 1hour bus ride uphill to the beautiful town of Sapa. The ride gives you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Upon arrival in Sapa Town we have breakfast in local restaurant and prepare for a great trek down to the picturesque valley of Muong Hoa. We will walk on small paths and trails to reach Lao Chai and Tavan Village to visit the Tay and Day tribes , where we will have unique homestay experience among hill tribe people. Picnic lunch on the way then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley. Dinner and overnight in the local house.
Day 11: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Ta Van (B/L/D)
Once you get energy for your next day trek by having a delicious breakfast, you leave for Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dao minority. You will trek through bamboo forest which belongs to Hoang Lien National Park. On the way you will pass by a waterfall where you will have time to take a rest and enjoy surroundings. You will find a nice place to enjoy lunch. After lunch going up to the main road where you will be picked up by jeep. Ride back to Sapa and you might stop some times on the way to take photos of the fabulous valley of Sapa. Check in and have dinner in hotel. Enjoy the night in the mountain town.
Day 12: Sapa – Cat cat – Sinchai – Ha Noi (B/L/D)
Sunrise breakfast and then check in your hotel, get ready for our last trek. You first sneak through the market and leave the busy town behind. After a couple of minutes, you will follow a road going down hill to Cat Cat village. You will stop by a waterfall and a hydroelectric station. Take a rest here before you trek downhill to get Sin Chai village. Enjoy beautiful scenery on the way back to Sapa town for lunch. You will have free time to discover by yourself in the afternoon. Bus will pick you up to Lao cai for dinner and train station for overnight train back to Hanoi.
Day 13: Ha Noi – Ha Long (B/L/D)
You will arrive to Hanoi Station at around 5h30. Our car will pick up you and transfer back to hotel for breakfast and free time till 8h00AM: Car and guide will pick you up at your hotel, for the 3.5 hr (175km) drive to Halong City.
12:00 PM: Board Halong Phoenix Cruiser. Lunch is served with a welcome drink while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape.
You will see Dog Rock, Incense Burner Rock, as well as Fighting Cock Rock before heading to Sung Sot Cave (Cave of Surprises).
Later we stop at a floating house owned by fishermen before kayaking to Luon Cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay.
After returning to the boat a fresh fruit platter will be served, and we will anchor in a safe and scenic location for swimming and our overnight stay.
Dinner is served onboard and then you have free time to listen to music, join in Karaoke singing or relax under the stars. Overnight in Ha Long Bay on Junk.
Day 14: Ha Long – Ha Noi (B/L/-)
7.30 AM: Breakfast will be served while the boat cruises to another beautiful part of the bay. Have your camera ready, as there will be more beautiful photograph opportunities!
10.00 AM: Have lunch on boat and returns to the dock.
12.00 PM: Car and guide pick up for Hanoi with 3,5 hours transfer from Ha Long city. Overnight in Ha Noi .
Day 15: Ha Noi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (B/L/-)
Hoa Lu and Tam Coc are two of the most beautiful landscapes of Ninh Binh province, just 100km to the southeast of Hanoi. Hoa Lu was the ancient Royal capital during the Dinh and Pre-Le dynasties which lasted for 41 years (from 969-1009). In comparison with Hoa Lu’s cultural significance, Tam Coc is considered naturally significant as the Ha Long Bay of the rice paddies because it is reminiscent of the famous natural heritage area in its due to its beautiful limestone landscape, charm. Sitting on boat cruising Tam Coc, one is enclosed by the scenic beauty of huge rocks standing along river and scattered green rice fields, all combined to form a poetic painting picture of the countryside.
7.30 AM: Pick up your hotel and leave for Ninh Binh province. The big chance for you to see countryside normal life of Vietnamese. Rest stop, photograph opportunities… Arrive Hoa Lu at 10:30. Spend time to review The Ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam.
12:00 PM: Departure to Tam Coc for lunch. After lunch, from the Tam Coc ferry, small boat takes you to visit Tam Coc (Three Caves).
The Ngo Dong River leads you in quiet movements of the oars create a sort of musical rhythm to a place which is you’ve never seen even in your dream. That’s why people called Tam Coc is “Halong bay in land”.
15.30 PM: Back to ferry and leave for Hanoi around 5.00 PM. Overnight in Ha Noi
Day 16: Ha Noi – Transfer to the airport (B/-/-)
Free time until transfer to the airport. End of the tour Vietnam Discovery.
